In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. Those who disbelieved from the People of the Book, and those who worshiped idols, weren't going to change their ways until clear proof came to them.

2. A Messenger from Allah, reciting pure pages.

3. Containing true and valuable teachings.

4. But the People of the Book didn't become divided until after the clear proof had already come to them.

5. They were only commanded to worship Allah sincerely, being true to Him alone, to pray regularly, and to give charity — and that is the true and right religion.

6. Those who disbelieved from the People of the Book, and those who worshiped idols, will be in the fire of Hell, staying there forever. They are the worst of all creatures.

7. Those who believe and do good deeds — they are the best of all creatures.

8. Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eden, with rivers flowing beneath them, staying there forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is for anyone who deeply respects their Lord.
