In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. By the night when it covers everything in darkness.

2. And by the day when it shines bright and clear.

3. And by the One Who created male and female.

4. Truly, your efforts are very different from each other.

5. As for the one who gives generously, and is mindful of Allah.

6. And believes in goodness.

7. We will surely make the path to happiness easy for him.

8. But as for the one who is stingy, and thinks he doesn't need anyone.

9. And denies goodness.

10. We will surely make the path to hardship easy for him.

11. And his money won't help him at all when he falls to ruin.

12. Truly, guiding you is Our responsibility.

13. And surely, to Us belong both this life and the next.

14. So I have warned you of a blazing Fire.

15. Only the most miserable person will enter it.

16. The one who rejected the truth and turned away.

17. But the most mindful person will be kept far away from it.

18. The one who gives away his wealth to purify himself.

19. Not to repay anyone for a favor.

20. But only seeking the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High.

21. And he will surely be pleased.
