In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. By the sun and its bright morning light.

2. By the moon as it follows the sun.

3. By the day as it reveals the sun.

4. By the night as it covers the sun.

5. By the sky and the One Who built it.

6. By the earth and the One Who spread it wide.

7. By the human soul and the One Who shaped it perfectly.

8. Then inspired it clearly to know right from wrong.

9. Successful is the one who purifies their soul.

10. And lost is the one who corrupts it.

11. The people of Thamud rejected the truth in their pride.

12. When the most wicked among them stepped forward.

13. Allah's messenger warned them, "This is Allah's camel — let her drink!"

14. But they called him a liar, and cruelly killed her, so their Lord destroyed them completely for their sin, leaving nothing behind.

15. And He does not fear the consequences.
