In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. He frowned and turned away.

2. Because the blind man came to him.

3. But how do you know? Maybe he wanted to become pure.

4. Or be reminded, so the reminder would help him.

5. But as for someone who feels no need.

6. You give him your attention.

7. Even though it's not your fault if he doesn't become pure.

8. But as for the one who eagerly came to you.

9. And who truly fears Allah.

10. You turned away from him.

11. No! This is surely a reminder.

12. So whoever wants to, let him remember it.

13. It is written in honored pages.

14. Held high and kept pure.

15. By the hands of noble scribes.

16. Honorable and good.

17. How ungrateful humans are! How they reject the truth!

18. From what did Allah create them?

19. From a tiny drop He created them, then shaped them perfectly.

20. Then He made their path easy for them.

21. Then He causes them to die and be buried.

22. Then, when He wills, He will resurrect them.

23. No! Humans have not yet done what Allah commanded them.

24. So let humans look carefully at their food.

25. We pour down water abundantly.

26. Then We split open the earth.

27. And make grain grow there.

28. And grapes and fresh greens.

29. And olives and date palms.

30. And lush gardens.

31. And fruits and grasses.

32. All as enjoyment for you and your animals.

33. But when the Deafening Blast comes.

34. On that Day, each person will run from their own brother.

35. And from their mother and father.

36. And from their partner and children.

37. On that Day, everyone will be so worried about themselves.

38. Some faces on that Day will be bright.

39. Laughing, joyful, and happy.

40. But other faces on that Day will be covered with dust.

41. Darkness covering them.

42. Those are the disbelievers, the immoral.
