In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.
1. Everything in the heavens and the earth praises Allah. All control belongs to Him, and all praise is His. He has power over everything.
2. He created you all — yet some of you disbelieve, and some of you believe. Allah sees clearly everything you do.
3. He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you beautifully. To Him is your final return.
4. He knows everything in the heavens and the earth. He knows what you keep hidden, and what you show openly. Allah knows exactly what's in your hearts.
5. Haven't you heard about those who disbelieved before you? They suffered the painful consequences of their actions, and they'll have a painful punishment.
6. That happened because their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they said, "Can ordinary humans guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away. Allah didn't need them — Allah is rich beyond need, and worthy of all praise.
7. Those who disbelieve claim they'll never be raised again. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you'll definitely be raised, and you'll surely be told about everything you've done." That's easy for Allah.
8. So believe in Allah, His Messenger, and the light We sent down. Allah is fully aware of everything you do.
9. On the Day when He gathers you all together — that's the Day of Loss and Gain. Whoever believes in Allah and does good, He'll erase their mistakes, and bring them into gardens with rivers flowing beneath, where they'll stay forever. That's the greatest success.
10. But those who disbelieve and reject Our verses — they're the people of the Fire, staying there forever. What a terrible destination!
11. No trouble ever happens without Allah's permission. Whoever believes in Allah, He guides their heart. Allah knows everything perfectly.
12. Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away, our Messenger's only responsibility is to clearly deliver the message.
13. Allah — there's no god except Him. So let the believers put their trust completely in Allah.
14. Believers, even among your spouses and your children, some may become enemies to you — so be careful. But if you forgive, overlook, and pardon them, then remember, Allah is forgiving and full of mercy.
15. Your wealth and your children are only a test. With Allah is the greatest reward.
16. So be mindful of Allah, as much as you can. Listen, obey, and give charity — it's best for yourselves. Whoever is protected from their own selfishness, they're the truly successful ones.
17. If you lend Allah a good loan, He'll multiply it for you, and forgive you. Allah is deeply appreciative and patient.
18. He knows what's hidden and what's open. He is the Mighty, the Wise.
