In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. By the winds that scatter dust.

2. And the clouds that carry heavy rain.

3. And the ships that sail smoothly.

4. And the angels who carefully carry out Allah's commands.

5. What you're promised is absolutely true.

6. And the Day of Judgment will surely happen.

7. By the sky, beautifully woven with paths.

8. You are truly caught up in different opinions.

9. Only those who turn away from truth are deceived.

10. Doomed are those who guess and lie.

11. Those who are lost in ignorance and forgetfulness.

12. They ask mockingly, "When will this Day of Judgment come?"

13. It will be the day they're tested by the Fire.

14. They'll be told, "Taste your punishment! This is what you were rushing to see!"

15. But those who were mindful of Allah, will be in gardens with flowing springs.

16. Happily accepting what their Lord gives them, because before this, they did good deeds.

17. They used to sleep only a little at night.

18. And in the early hours before dawn, they prayed for forgiveness.

19. And in their wealth, there was always a share for the needy, and those who asked for help.

20. On the earth, there are clear signs for those who truly believe.

21. And even within yourselves — don't you see?

22. Your provision and all you're promised are in heaven.

23. By the Lord of heaven and earth, this is as true as your ability to speak.

24. Have you heard the story of Abraham's honored guests?

25. When they entered his home, they greeted him, "Peace!" He replied, "Peace," thinking, "These people are strangers."

26. Quietly, he went to his family, and brought back a roasted calf.

27. He placed it near them and said, "Won't you eat?"

28. He felt uneasy about them, but they said, "Don't be afraid," and gave him good news of a wise son.

29. His wife came forward in surprise, struck her face, and said, "But I'm an old woman who can't have children!"

30. They replied, "This is exactly what your Lord has said. He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing."

31. Abraham asked, "Then what is your mission, messengers?"

32. They replied, "We have been sent to criminal people.

33. To send down upon them stones made of clay.

34. Marked by your Lord, for those who cross all limits."

35. So We brought out all the believers who were there.

36. But We found only one household of Muslims there.

37. And We left there a clear sign for those who fear painful punishment.

38. And in Moses' story, when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear proof.

39. But Pharaoh turned away proudly with his supporters, saying, "He's just a magician or a madman!"

40. So We seized him and his soldiers, and threw them into the sea — he was to blame.

41. And in the people of Aad, when We sent against them the destructive wind.

42. It spared nothing it touched, turning everything into dust and ruins.

43. And in Thamud, when they were told, "Enjoy yourselves for a short while."

44. But they arrogantly ignored their Lord's command, so lightning struck them as they watched.

45. They couldn't even stand up, nor could they defend themselves.

46. And before them, the people of Noah — they were truly rebellious people.

47. We built the sky with power, and We are always expanding it.

48. And We spread out the earth — how wonderfully We prepared it!

49. And from everything, We created pairs, so that you might remember.

50. So hurry toward Allah — I am clearly sent by Him to warn you.

51. And don't set up another god alongside Allah — I am clearly sent by Him to warn you.

52. In the same way, whenever a messenger came to those before them, they said, "He's just a magician or a madman."

53. Did they pass this advice down to each other? No — they are just people who cross all limits.

54. So turn away from them — you won't be blamed.

55. But keep reminding, because reminders truly help the believers.

56. I created jinn and humans only to worship Me.

57. I don't want any provision from them, nor do I want them to feed Me.

58. Allah Himself is the Provider, the Lord of mighty strength.

59. Those who do wrong will have punishment, just like their companions before them — so let them not rush Me.

60. How terrible it will be for those who disbelieve, on the Day they have been promised!
