In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. Qaf. By the glorious Quran!

2. But they wonder that a warner has come to them from among themselves. So the disbelievers say, "This is something strange!

3. When we die and become dust, will we really come back to life? That's too far-fetched!"

4. We certainly know what the earth takes away from their bodies, and with Us is a protected record.

5. But they rejected the truth when it came to them, so now they're confused and unsure.

6. Haven't they looked up at the sky above them — how We built it and decorated it, without any cracks?

7. And the earth — We spread it out wide, placed firm mountains on it, and made all kinds of beautiful plants grow there.

8. As clear proof and a reminder for every person who turns back to Allah.

9. And We sent down blessed rain from the sky, making gardens grow with it, and grains ready for harvest.

10. And tall palm trees, with clusters of dates hanging close together.

11. As food for people. And with that rain, We brought a dead land back to life. That's exactly how people will come out from their graves.

12. Before them, Noah's people, the people of the well, and Thamud rejected the truth.

13. And so did Aad, Pharaoh, and Lot's people.

14. And the people of the forest, and the people of Tubba. Each one called their messengers liars, so My warning came true.

15. Were We tired after creating the first time? No — but they're still doubtful about being created again.

16. We created the human being, and We know exactly what whispers inside him. We're even closer to him than his own vein.

17. As the two angels sit, one on his right and one on his left, writing everything down.

18. Not a single word does he speak without a watcher ready by his side.

19. And the moment of death comes with truth — that's exactly what you were trying to avoid.

20. And the trumpet will be blown — that's the Day of the promised warning.

21. Every person will arrive, each with an angel to drive them forward, and another to bear witness.

22. "You paid no attention to this before, but now We've lifted the veil from your eyes, and today your sight is sharp and clear."

23. And his companion angel will say, "Here is the record ready with me."

24. "Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever.

25. Who stopped others from doing good, crossed all limits, and filled hearts with doubt.

26. Who worshiped other gods besides Allah — throw him into severe punishment."

27. His companion will say, "My Lord, I didn't lead him astray; he himself was far off the right path."

28. Allah will say, "Don't argue in front of Me — I already gave you My warning.

29. My word never changes, and I am never unjust to the servants."

30. On that Day, We will ask Hell, "Are you full yet?" And it will reply, "Is there any more?"

31. And Paradise will be brought close — within easy reach — for those who were mindful of Allah.

32. "This is what you were promised — for everyone who kept turning back to Allah, and carefully guarded their faith.

33. Who respected the Most Merciful, even without seeing Him, and came with a heart full of repentance.

34. Enter it in peace — this is the Day of eternal life."

35. They will have whatever they wish there, and with Us is even more.

36. How many generations before them did We destroy — people stronger than them in power? They traveled far and wide through the lands, but was there any escape?

37. In this is a reminder for anyone who has a heart, or who listens carefully and pays attention.

38. We created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six days, and no tiredness touched Us.

39. So be patient with what they say, and praise your Lord before sunrise and before sunset.

40. And during the night, glorify Him, and after each prayer.

41. And listen carefully on the Day when the caller will call out from a place nearby.

42. The Day they will truly hear the mighty blast — that's the Day of coming out from the graves.

43. It is We Who give life and cause death, and to Us is everyone's final return.

44. On the Day the earth splits open, they will rush out quickly — that gathering is easy for Us.

45. We know best what they say, and you aren't sent to force them. So remind with the Quran those who fear My warning.
