In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

1. Ta. Seen. These are the verses of the Quran — a clear Book.

2. A guide and joyful news for the believers.

3. Those who pray regularly, give charity, and firmly believe in the Hereafter.

4. As for those who don't believe in the Hereafter, We made their deeds seem attractive to them, so they wander blindly.

5. They are the ones who will have the worst punishment, and in the Hereafter, they'll be the biggest losers.

6. You are receiving the Quran from the One Who is Wise and All-Knowing.

7. Remember when Moses said to his family, "I've noticed a fire. I'll bring you some news from there, or I'll bring you a burning stick, so you can warm yourselves."

8. But when he reached it, a voice called out, "Blessed is whoever is in the fire, and whoever is around it. Glory to Allah, Lord of all creation!

9. Moses, it is I — Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.

10. Throw down your staff!" When Moses saw it moving like a snake, he turned and ran without turning back. "Moses, don't be afraid! The messengers don't fear in My presence.

11. Except those who did wrong — but if they replace their bad deeds with good ones, then I am truly Forgiving and Merciful.

12. Now put your hand inside your pocket — it will come out shining white without any harm. These are among nine miracles you'll show Pharaoh and his people. They are truly rebellious people."

13. But when Our clear miracles came to them, they said, "This is obviously magic!"

14. They rejected the miracles — even though deep inside they knew the truth — out of injustice and pride. See how terrible was the end of those who spread corruption!

15. We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they both said, "Praise belongs to Allah, Who favored us over many of His believing servants."

16. Solomon inherited David, and said, "People, we've been taught the language of birds, and we've been given all kinds of blessings. This is clearly a great favor from Allah."

17. Solomon's armies of jinn, humans, and birds were gathered before him, marching in organized groups.

18. When they reached the valley of ants, one ant called out, "Ants, hurry into your homes, or Solomon and his armies might crush you without even realizing it!"

19. Solomon smiled and laughed gently at her words, and said, "My Lord, inspire me to be thankful for Your blessings upon me and my parents, and to do good deeds that please You. By Your mercy, include me among Your righteous servants."

20. Then he checked on the birds and said, "Why don't I see the hoopoe? Or is he missing?"

21. "I'll definitely punish him severely, or even kill him, unless he brings me a clear reason."

22. But the hoopoe didn't stay away long. He came back and said, "I've learned something you don't know, and I've brought you certain news from Sheba."

23. "I found a woman ruling over them. She's been given everything, and she has a magnificent throne."

24. "I found her and her people bowing down to the sun instead of Allah. Satan has made their actions seem good to them, turning them away from the right path, so they can't find their way."

25. Why don't they bow down to Allah, Who brings out what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows everything you hide and everything you show?

26. Allah — there is no god except Him, Lord of the magnificent Throne.

27. Solomon said, "We will see if you're telling the truth, or if you're lying.

28. Take this letter of mine, deliver it to them, then step back and see how they respond."

29. The queen said, "My advisors, I've received a noble letter.

30. It's from Solomon, and it says: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

31. Don't act arrogantly toward me, and come to me in submission.'"

32. She said, "My advisors, give me your advice about this matter — I won't decide anything until you witness it with me."

33. They replied, "We have great strength and courage, but the decision is yours — so think carefully and tell us what to do."

34. She said, "When kings enter a town, they ruin it and humiliate its proudest people — that's what they always do.

35. So I'll send them a gift, and wait to see what the messengers bring back."

36. When the messengers came to Solomon, he said, "Are you offering me wealth? What Allah has given me is far better than what He has given you — you're the ones who feel happy about your gift.

37. Go back to them — we'll come at them with armies they can't resist, and we'll drive them out of their land, humbled and disgraced."

38. Solomon said, "My advisors, who can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

39. A powerful jinn said, "I'll bring it to you before you even stand up from your seat — I'm strong enough and trustworthy."

40. But someone who had knowledge of the Scripture said, "I'll bring it to you in the blink of an eye." When Solomon saw the throne placed before him, he said, "This is a favor from my Lord, to test me whether I'm grateful or ungrateful. Whoever is grateful, it's for their own good. And whoever is ungrateful — my Lord doesn't need anything, and He's truly generous."

41. Solomon said, "Disguise her throne for her — we'll see if she recognizes it, or if she's one of those who don't find the right way."

42. When she arrived, she was asked, "Is your throne like this?" She replied, "It looks exactly like it. We were given knowledge before this, and we've already submitted to Allah."

43. But what she used to worship besides Allah had kept her away — she belonged to people who didn't believe.

44. She was told, "Enter the palace." When she saw it, she thought it was deep water, and she uncovered her legs. Solomon said, "It's a palace paved with smooth glass." She said, "My Lord, I've wronged myself, and now I submit with Solomon, to Allah, Lord of all the worlds."

45. We sent to the people of Thamud their brother Salih, saying, "Worship Allah." But suddenly, they split into two groups, arguing with each other.

46. Salih said, "My people, why do you rush toward evil instead of good? Why don't you ask Allah to forgive you, so that you may receive His mercy?"

47. They said, "We think you and your followers are bringing us bad luck." He replied, "Your fate is decided by Allah. Actually, you're people being tested."

48. In the city, there were nine troublemakers who spread corruption everywhere and never did anything good.

49. They said to each other, "Let's swear by Allah — we'll secretly attack Salih and his family at night. Then we'll tell his relatives, 'We didn't witness the killing of his family, and we're definitely telling the truth.'"

50. They made their secret plan, but We also made Our plan — and they didn't realize it.

51. So look at what happened because of their plotting: We completely destroyed them and all their people.

52. Now their homes lie empty and ruined because of the wrong they did. Truly, there is a clear lesson in this for people who understand.

53. And We saved those who believed and were mindful of Allah.

54. And remember Lot, when he said to his people, "How can you commit such shameful acts openly, while you clearly see?

55. Do you really approach men with desire instead of women? You're truly ignorant people."

56. But his people's only answer was to say, "Drive Lot's family out of your town — they're people who want to stay pure!"

57. So We saved Lot and his family, except for his wife — We destined her to remain behind.

58. And We poured down upon them a terrible rain — how awful was the rain that fell upon those who had been warned!

59. Say, "Praise belongs to Allah, and peace be upon His servants He has chosen. Is Allah better, or what they worship beside Him?"

60. Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down rain from the sky for you? With it, We grew beautiful gardens — you could never have made their trees grow. Is there another god besides Allah? No, but they are people who turn away from the truth.

61. Who made the earth a stable home, placed rivers flowing through it, set firm mountains upon it, and put a barrier between the two seas? Is there another god besides Allah? No, but most of them don't understand.

62. Who answers the desperate person when he calls Him, removes suffering, and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there another god besides Allah? How little you remember!

63. Who guides you through the darkness of land and sea, and sends winds bringing good news of His mercy? Is there another god besides Allah? Allah is far above anything they worship alongside Him.

64. Who begins creation, then brings it back again, and provides for you from the sky and the earth? Is there another god besides Allah? Say, "Show your proof, if you're telling the truth."

65. Say, "No one in the heavens or the earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they don't even realize when they will be raised again."

66. Their knowledge about the Hereafter is weak. In fact, they're in doubt about it — rather, they're blind to it.

67. Those who disbelieve say, "When we're dust, and our ancestors too, will we really be brought back to life?"

68. "We've been promised this before, and our ancestors as well. These are just old stories."

69. Say, "Travel through the land, and see how things ended for those who did wrong."

70. Don't be sad about them, and don't feel troubled by their plans.

71. They ask, "When will this promise come true, if you're telling the truth?"

72. Say, "Maybe some of what you're rushing to see is already close behind you."

73. Your Lord is truly generous to people, but most of them aren't thankful.

74. Your Lord knows exactly what their hearts hide, and what they openly show.

75. There's nothing hidden in the heavens or the earth, except that it's recorded in a clear Book.

76. This Quran explains to the Children of Israel most of the things they disagree about.

77. And it's a guide and mercy for those who believe.

78. Your Lord will judge between them with His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the All-Knowing.

79. So trust in Allah — you're clearly following the truth.

80. You can't make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn away.

81. And you can't guide the blind out of their confusion. You can only make those hear who believe in Our verses, and so they surrender to Allah.

82. When the time comes for Allah's word to be fulfilled against them, We will bring out for them a creature from the earth, speaking to them clearly, saying to them that people were never certain about Our signs.

83. On that Day, We will gather from every community a group of those who rejected Our revelations, and they will be held back in groups.

84. When they arrive, He will say, "Did you reject My verses without fully understanding them? Or what exactly were you doing?"

85. And Allah's word will come true against them because of their wrongdoing, and they won't be able to say a word.

86. Don't they see that We made the night for them to rest, and the day bright and clear? Truly, in this are signs for people who believe.

87. On the Day when the trumpet is blown, everyone in the heavens and on earth will be terrified, except those Allah chooses. And all will come to Him, humble and quiet.

88. You see the mountains, thinking they're fixed, but they move as clouds move. This is Allah's creation, Who perfected everything. He knows exactly what you do.

89. Whoever comes with a good deed will receive something even better, and they'll be safe from fear on that Day.

90. But whoever comes with a bad deed — their faces will be thrown down into the Fire. Are you being rewarded for anything except what you used to do?

91. I've been commanded to worship the Lord of this town, which He has made sacred — everything belongs to Him. And I've been commanded to be among those who submit to Him.

92. And to recite the Quran. So whoever follows the right path, does so for their own good. And whoever loses their way, just say, "I'm only here to warn."

93. And say, "Praise belongs to Allah! He will show you His signs, and you'll recognize them. Your Lord is never unaware of what you do."
