2. A messenger from Allah, reciting pure pages.

3. In them are upright writings.

4. The People of the Book didn't become divided until after the clear proof came to them.

5. They were only told to worship Allah, sincerely obeying Him, following the right way, praying regularly, and giving charity. That's the true and right religion.

6. Those who disbelieved from the People of the Book and those who worshiped idols will be in the fire of Hell, staying there forever. They are the worst of all creatures.

7. Those who believed and did good deeds — they are the best of all creatures.

8. Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of happiness, with rivers flowing beneath them, staying there forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is for anyone who respects their Lord.
