In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. He frowned and turned away.

2. Because the blind man came to him.

3. How could you know? Maybe he wanted to become better.

4. Or listen carefully, so the reminder could help him.

5. But the one who thinks he doesn't need anything.

6. You pay attention to him.

7. Even though it's not your fault if he doesn't become better.

8. But the one who comes running to you.

9. And he deeply respects Allah.

10. You turn away from him.

11. No! These words are a reminder.

12. Whoever wants can remember them.

13. They're written on special pages.

14. Held high and kept clean.

15. By the hands of noble scribes.

16. Who are noble and righteous.

17. May man be destroyed! How ungrateful he is!

18. From what did He create him?

19. He created him from a tiny drop, then shaped him carefully.

20. Then He made the way easy for him.

21. Then He caused him to die and placed him in the grave.

22. Then, when He wants, He will resurrect him.

23. No! The human being hasn't done what Allah told him to do.

24. So let the human being look at his food.

25. We pour down water from the sky abundantly.

26. Then We split open the earth.

27. And We make grain grow in it.

28. And grapes and tender plants.

29. And olives and palm trees.

30. And gardens full of thick trees.

31. And fruits and grass for animals.

32. All these things for you and your animals to enjoy.

33. When the loud blast comes.

34. On that Day, a person will run away from his brother.

35. And from his mother and father.

36. And from his wife and children.

37. On that Day, everyone will be busy worrying about themselves.

38. Some faces on that Day will be bright.

39. Smiling and happy.

40. Other faces on that Day will be covered with dust.

41. Covered with darkness.

42. Those are the disbelievers, the wicked.
