In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. What are they asking each other about?

2. About the great news.

3. The one they disagree about.

4. Soon they'll know.

5. Then soon they'll know.

6. Didn't We make the earth a comfortable place to rest?

7. And the mountains like pegs?

8. And We created you in pairs.

9. And We made your sleep restful.

10. And We made the night like a cover.

11. And We made the day for you to be active.

12. And We built above you seven strong heavens.

13. And We placed a very bright lamp.

14. And We sent down pouring rain from the clouds.

15. To grow grains and plants.

16. And beautiful gardens full of trees.

17. The Day of Judgment has a set time.

18. On that day, the trumpet will be blown, and you'll come in groups.

19. And the sky will open up, becoming like wide doors.

20. And the mountains will move away, becoming like a mirage.

21. Hellfire is waiting.

22. A place for those who broke all the rules.

23. They'll stay there for a very long time.

24. They won't taste anything cool or any drink.

25. Except boiling water and a very awful, cold drink.

26. A fair punishment.

27. Because they didn't expect to be judged.

28. And they completely rejected Our verses.

29. We counted everything in a book.

30. So taste this — we'll only give you more punishment.

31. Those who are mindful of Allah will have success.

32. Beautiful gardens and grapevines.

33. And friends of the same age.

34. And cups filled to the top.

35. They won't hear any bad words or lies there.

36. A reward from your Lord, a generous and perfect gift.

37. From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them, the Most Kind. No one can speak to Him.

38. On the day when the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows. No one will speak, except those the Most Kind allows, and they'll say what's right.

39. That day will surely come. So whoever wants can choose the way back to their Lord.

40. We've warned you about a punishment that's very close — the day when a person will see clearly what they've done, and the disbeliever will say, "I wish I was just dust!"
