In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.
1. Noon. By the pen and what they write.
2. By your Lord's blessing, you're not crazy.
3. And you'll have a reward that never ends.
4. And you have a great character.
5. Soon you'll see, and they'll see.
6. Which one of you is really confused.
7. Your Lord knows best who has lost His way, and He knows best who is guided.
8. So don't listen to those who deny the truth.
9. They wish you'd give in, so they'd give in too.
10. And don't listen to anyone who always swears and is mean.
11. Who makes fun of others and spreads gossip.
12. Who stops people from doing good, who crosses limits, and does wrong.
13. Who is rude, and after all that, has a bad reputation.
14. Just because he has money and children.
15. When Our verses are read to him, he says, "These are just old stories."
16. We will put a mark on his nose.
17. We tested them, just like We tested the owners of the garden, when they promised they'd pick all its fruits early in the morning.
18. Without saying, "If Allah wills."
19. But while they were sleeping, a disaster from your Lord came to the garden.
20. And by morning, it was ruined and empty.
21. They called each other early.
22. Saying, "Let's go early to pick our fruits!"
23. So they went quietly, whispering to each other.
24. "Don't let any poor person come into the garden today."
25. They hurried off, thinking they could do exactly what they planned.
26. But when they saw the garden, they said, "We're lost!
27. No, we've lost everything!"
28. The most sensible one said, "Didn't I tell you to praise Allah?"
29. They said, "Glory to our Lord! We were wrong!"
30. Then they started blaming each other.
31. They said, "Oh no! We went too far!
32. Maybe our Lord will give us something better. We really hope in our Lord."
33. That's how punishment is. But the punishment in the Hereafter is even bigger, if only they knew.
34. Those who are good and listen to Allah will have beautiful gardens of happiness with their Lord.
35. Should We treat those who submit to Allah the same as those who do wrong?
36. What's wrong with you? How do you decide?
37. Do you have a book that you study?
38. That says you'll get whatever you choose?
39. Or do you have a strong promise from Us, lasting until the Day of Judgment, that you'll get whatever you decide?
40. Ask them, "Who will guarantee this for you?"
41. Or do they have partners besides Allah? Then let them bring their partners, if they're telling the truth.
42. On the Day when things becomes very difficult, they'll be asked to bow down, but they won't be able to.
43. Their eyes will look down, and they'll feel very embarrassed. Before, they were asked to bow down when they were safe and well.
44. So leave Me to deal with those who don't believe in this message. We'll lead them step by step, in ways they don't even realize.
45. I'll give them time, but My plan is strong.
46. Or do you ask them for a reward, so they're burdened with debt?
47. Or do they know hidden things, so they write them down?
48. Be patient with your Lord's decision, and don't be like the man swallowed by the whale, who called out when he was very upset.
49. If his Lord hadn't been kind to him, he would've been left alone on the empty shore, blamed.
50. But his Lord chose him and made him one of the good people.
51. Those who disbelieve almost trip you up with their looks when they hear the message, and they say, "He's crazy!"
52. But it's only a reminder for everyone in the world.
