In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. Everything in the heavens and the earth praises Allah. All power belongs to Him, and all praise belongs to Him. He can do anything.

2. He created you all. Some of you don't believe, and some of you believe. Allah sees everything you do.

3. He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He shaped you, and He made your shapes beautiful. And you will all return to Him.

4. He knows everything in the heavens and the earth. He knows what you hide and what you show. Allah knows what's inside everyone's heart.

5. Didn't you hear about the people before who didn't believe? They felt the bad results of what they did, and they'll have a painful punishment.

6. That happened because their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they said, "Can humans guide us?" So they didn't believe, and they turned away. Allah doesn't need them — Allah is rich and deserves all praise.

7. Those who don't believe think they'll never come back to life. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you'll surely come back to life. Then you'll be told everything you did." That's easy for Allah.

8. So believe in Allah, His Messenger, and the light We sent down. Allah knows everything you do.

9. On the Day when He gathers you all together — that's the Day of Gathering. Whoever believes in Allah and does good things, Allah will erase their mistakes and bring them into beautiful gardens with rivers flowing underneath. They'll stay there forever. That's the greatest success.

10. But those who don't believe and say Our verses aren't true — they'll be in the Fire, staying there forever. What a terrible place to end up!

11. Nothing bad happens except by Allah's permission. Whoever believes in Allah, He guides their heart. Allah knows everything.

12. Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away, Our Messenger's job is only to clearly deliver the message.

13. Allah — there is no god except Him. Believers should trust in Allah.

14. You who believe, some of your husbands, wives, and children might be enemies to you, so watch out for them. But if you forgive, overlook, and pardon them, then remember — Allah is forgiving and kind.

15. Your money and your children are only a test. But with Allah, there's a wonderful reward.

16. So be careful to obey Allah as much as you can. Listen, obey, and give charity — it's good for you. Whoever is protected from being selfish, they're the ones who succeed.

17. If you lend Allah a good loan, He'll multiply it for you and forgive you. Allah is thankful and patient.

18. He knows what's hidden and what's open. He's the Mighty, the Wise.
