In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. By the star when it falls.

2. Your friend hasn't lost his way, and he isn't wrong.

3. He doesn't speak from his own wishes.

4. It's only a message that's given to him.

5. A mighty angel taught it to him.

6. Strong and powerful, who stood tall.

7. High up in the sky.

8. Then he came closer and closer.

9. Until he was as near as two bows, or even closer.

10. Then Allah gave His servant the message He wanted to give.

11. His heart didn't lie about what he saw.

12. Will you argue with him about what he saw?

13. He saw the angel another time.

14. Near the special tree at the farthest place.

15. Close to it is the Garden of Rest.

16. When the tree was covered by something mysterious.

17. His eyes didn't turn away, nor did they go beyond.

18. He saw some of the greatest signs of his Lord.

19. Have you thought about Al-Lat and Al-Uzza.

20. And Manat, the third one?

21. Do you think you should have sons, and Allah should have daughters?

22. That is a strange and unfair division!

23. These are just names you and your parents made up. Allah never gave you any proof for them. They only follow guesses and what they wish for. But now, clear guidance has come to them from their Lord.

24. Can a human have everything he wishes for?

25. Everything in this life and the next belongs to Allah.

26. There are many angels in the skies, but their help won't matter — unless Allah gives them permission, and He is pleased with the person they're helping.

27. Those who don't believe in the Hereafter give angels girls' names.

28. But they don't really know anything about it. They're just guessing, and guessing doesn't help you find the truth at all.

29. So stay away from those who turn away from remembering Us and only want this life.

30. That's all they know. Your Lord knows best who has lost His way, and He knows best who follows the right path.

31. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. He will repay those who do bad things for what they've done, and He will reward those who do good with the best reward.

32. Those who stay away from big sins and shameful acts, except small mistakes. Your Lord forgives greatly. He knows you best, from when He created you from the earth, and when you were still inside your mothers. So don't say you are pure. He knows best who is careful to obey Him.

33. Have you seen the one who turned away?

34. He gave a little, then stopped giving.

35. Does he know hidden things, so he can see clearly?

36. Or hasn't he heard what's written in the pages of Moses?

37. And in the pages of Abraham, who kept his promise?

38. That no one will carry the mistakes of someone else.

39. And that a human being will only have what they worked for.

40. And that their efforts will be seen clearly.

41. Then they'll be rewarded fully for what they've done.

42. And that everything ends with your Lord.

43. And that He's the One Who makes people laugh and cry.

44. And that He's the One Who causes death and gives life.

45. And that He created the two kinds, the male and the female.

46. From a tiny drop when it's placed.

47. And that He will bring people back to life again.

48. And that He's the One Who gives wealth and makes people content.

49. And that He's the Lord of Sirius, the bright star.

50. And that He destroyed the first people called Aad.

51. And Thamud — He didn't leave any of them alive.

52. And the people of Noah before them — they were even more unfair and did more wrong.

53. And the overturned city, He made fall down.

54. Then He covered them with something terrible.

55. So which of your Lord's favors do you doubt?

56. This is a warning, just like the warnings before.

57. The Day that's coming is very close.

58. No one except Allah can stop it from happening.

59. Are you amazed by these words?

60. And you laugh instead of crying.

61. And you're playing around and not paying attention?

62. So bow down to Allah and worship Him.
