In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. All praise belongs to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth. He made angels His messengers, with wings — two, three, or four. He adds to His creation whatever He wants. Allah has power over everything.

2. When Allah opens a door of kindness for people, no one can close it. And when He closes it, no one else can open it. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

3. O people, remember Allah's blessings to you. Is there any creator besides Allah who gives you food and water from the sky and the earth? There is no god except Him. So how can you turn away?

4. If they call you a liar, remember that other messengers before you were also called liars. And all things return to Allah.

5. O people, Allah's promise is true. Don't let this life trick you, and don't let the great trickster trick you about Allah.

6. Satan is your enemy, so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his followers to become people of the blazing Fire.

7. Those who disbelieve will have a painful punishment. But those who believe and do good things will have forgiveness and a big reward.

8. What about someone who thinks his bad actions look good? Allah lets whoever He wants go the wrong way, and He guides whoever He wants. So don't feel sad about them. Allah knows exactly what they do.

9. Allah sends the winds, and they stir up clouds. Then We move the clouds to a dry land, and We bring the earth back to life after it was dead. That's how people will come back to life.

10. Whoever wants honor should know that all honor belongs to Allah. Good words rise up to Him, and good actions lift them higher. But those who plan bad things will have a painful punishment, and their plans will fail.

11. Allah created you from dust, then from a tiny drop, then He made you into pairs. No female carries a baby or gives birth without His knowledge. No one grows old or has their life shortened without it being written in a book. That's easy for Allah.

12. The two seas aren't the same. One sea has fresh, sweet water that's good to drink. The other sea is salty and bitter. Yet from both seas you eat fresh fish and get beautiful jewelry to wear. And you see ships sailing through the water, so you can look for Allah's gifts and be thankful.

13. He makes the night gently change into day, and the day gently change into night. He made the sun and the moon follow His rules, each moving for a set time. This is Allah, your Lord. All power belongs to Him. Those you pray to besides Him don't even own something as tiny as a seed's skin.

14. If you call them, they can't hear your prayers. Even if they could hear, they wouldn't answer you. On the Day of Judgment, they'll say they had nothing to do with you praying to them. No one can tell you the truth like the One Who knows everything.

15. O people, you all need Allah, but Allah is the One Who needs nothing and deserves praise.

16. If He wants, He can take you away and bring a new creation.

17. And that's not hard for Allah at all.

18. No one will carry another person's sins. Even if someone carrying a heavy load asks for help, no one else will carry any of it — not even a close relative. You can only warn those who respect their Lord without seeing Him and who pray regularly. Whoever does good, it's good for themselves. And everyone will return to Allah.

19. A blind person and a person who can see aren't the same.

20. Darkness and light aren't the same.

21. Cool shade and burning heat aren't the same.

22. And the living and the dead aren't the same. Allah makes whoever He wants hear, but you can't make those in their graves hear you.

23. You're only someone who warns people.

24. We sent you with the truth, to give good news and to warn. Every group of people had someone to warn them.

25. If they don't believe you, remember that people before them did the same thing. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, holy writings, and a bright, clear Book.

26. Then I punished those who didn't believe. And how terrible My punishment was!

27. Don't you see that Allah sends down water from the sky? Then, with it, We grow fruits of many different colors. And in the mountains, there are paths of white and red, all different colors, and some mountains are intensely black.

28. And people, animals, and farm animals also have many different colors. Among Allah's servants, only those who have knowledge truly respect Him. Allah is powerful and forgiving.

29. Those who read Allah's Book, pray regularly, and give charity secretly and openly, hope for a reward that will never end.

30. Allah will give them their full reward, and even more from His kindness. He is forgiving and grateful.

31. The Book We revealed to you is the truth. It agrees with the Books that came before it. Allah sees and knows everything about His servants.

32. Then We gave the Book to those servants We chose. Some of them are unfair to themselves, some do just enough good, and some hurry to do many good things with Allah's permission. That is the greatest blessing.

33. They will enter beautiful gardens, where they'll wear bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothes there will be made of silk.

34. They will say, "All praise belongs to Allah, Who took away all our sadness. Our Lord is forgiving and thankful.

35. He brought us to this home where we will stay forever. He was kind to us. Here, we won't feel tired or worn out."

36. But those who disbelieve will have the fire of Hell. They won't be allowed to die, and their punishment won't become lighter. That's how We repay everyone who is ungrateful.

37. They will cry out loudly there, "Our Lord, please take us out! We'll do good things, different from what we used to do!" But Allah will say, "Didn't We give you enough time to remember and think? And didn't someone come to warn you? Now taste this punishment, because those who do wrong have no helper."

38. Allah knows all the hidden things in the heavens and the earth. He knows everything that's inside people's hearts.

39. He is the One Who made you live on earth after others. Whoever doesn't believe, their disbelief only hurts themselves. Their disbelief only makes Allah dislike them more, and it only makes them lose more.

40. Say, "Think about those you pray to instead of Allah. Show me — what did they create on earth? Do they have any share in the heavens? Did We give them a book with clear proof?" No, those who do wrong only promise each other things that aren't true.

41. Allah holds the heavens and the earth, so they don't disappear. If they ever disappeared, no one else could hold them after Him. He is patient and forgiving.

42. They promised very strongly by Allah, "If someone comes to warn us, we'll surely follow the right way better than anyone else." But when someone came to warn them, it only made them run away more.

43. They acted proudly on earth and planned bad things. But bad plans only hurt the ones who make them. Are they waiting for anything except what happened to people before them? You'll never find any change in Allah's way, and you'll never find Allah's way turning into something else.

44. Didn't they travel around the earth and see what happened to people before them? Those people were even stronger than they are. Nothing in the heavens or on earth can ever stop Allah. He knows everything and can do anything.

45. If Allah punished people right away for the wrong things they did, He wouldn't leave a single living creature on earth. But He gives them more time until a certain day. When their time comes, Allah sees all His servants clearly.
