In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

1. Ta. Seen. These are the verses of the Quran — a clear Book.

2. It guides and gives good news to those who believe.

3. Those who pray regularly, give charity, and are sure about the Hereafter.

4. Those who don't believe in the Hereafter — we've made their actions seem good to them, so they wander around confused.

5. They're the ones who will have the worst punishment, and they'll be the biggest losers in the Hereafter.

6. You're receiving the Quran from the One Who is Wise and Knows everything.

7. Remember when Moses said to his family, "I've noticed a fire. I'll bring you some news from there, or I'll bring you a burning stick so you can warm yourselves."

8. When he came to the fire, a voice called out, "Blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it. Glory to Allah, the Lord of everyone and everything!"

9. "Moses, it's Me, Allah — the Mighty, the Wise."

10. "Throw down your stick." When Moses saw it moving like a snake, he turned and ran away without looking back. Allah said, "Moses, don't be afraid. My messengers don't fear in My presence."

11. "Except for someone who did wrong, but then does good after doing something wrong. I'm forgiving and kind."

12. "Now put your hand inside your shirt. It will come out shining white, without any harm. These are among nine miracles to Pharaoh and his people. They were people who disobeyed Allah."

13. When Our miracles came to them clearly, they said, "This is obviously magic!"

14. They rejected the miracles, even though deep inside they knew they were true, because they were unfair and proud. See how things ended for those who caused trouble.

15. We gave knowledge to David and Solomon. They both said, "All praise be to Allah, Who chose us over many of His believing servants."

16. Solomon inherited from David, and said, "People, we've been taught the language of birds, and we've been given something of everything. This is clearly a great blessing."

17. Solomon's armies of jinn, humans, and birds were gathered together, marching in organized groups.

18. When they reached a valley of ants, one ant said, "Ants, go into your homes, so Solomon and his soldiers don't accidentally crush you without noticing!"

19. Solomon smiled and laughed gently at what the ant said. He prayed, "My Lord, help me always thank You for the blessings You've given me and my parents. Help me do good things that make You happy, and with Your kindness, let me join Your good servants."

20. He checked the birds and said, "Why can't I see the hoopoe? Is he missing?"

21. "I'll punish him severely, or I'll kill him, unless he brings me a good reason."

22. But the hoopoe didn't stay away long. He came back and said, "I know something you don't know. I've come to you from Sheba with important news."

23. "I found a woman ruling over them. She has been given all kinds of things, and she has a great throne."

24. "I saw her and her people bowing down to the sun instead of Allah. Satan made their actions look good to them, so he led them away from the right path. Now they can't find the way."

25. Why don't they worship Allah, Who brings out everything hidden in the skies and the earth, and Who knows what you hide and what you show?

26. Allah — there is no god except Him. He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

27. Solomon said, "We'll see if you're telling the truth or if you're lying."

28. "Take this letter of mine, deliver it to them, then step back and see what they reply."

29. The queen said, "My advisors, I've received a noble letter.

30. It's from Solomon, and it says: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Caring.

31. Don't act proudly against me, and come to me in submission.'"

32. She said, "My advisors, tell me what you think I should do. I never decide anything without your advice."

33. They said, "We have great strength and courage, but the decision is yours. Tell us what you want us to do."

34. She said, "When kings enter a town, they ruin it, and they make its strongest people weak. That's what they always do.

35. I'll send them a gift, then wait and see what my messengers bring back."

36. When the messengers came to Solomon with the gift, he said, "Are you giving me wealth? What Allah has given me is better than what He gave you. You're the ones who feel happy about your gift.

37. Go back to them. We'll come with armies they can't face, and we'll drive them out of their land, weak and small."

38. Solomon said, "My advisors, who can bring me her throne before they come to me peacefully?"

39. A strong jinn said, "I'll bring it to you before you stand up from your seat. I'm strong enough and trustworthy."

40. But someone who had knowledge from Allah's Book said, "I'll bring it to you before you can blink your eyes." When Solomon saw the throne placed right in front of him, he said, "This is a favor from my Lord, to test me if I'm thankful or not. Whoever is thankful, it's good for themselves. And whoever isn't thankful, my Lord doesn't need anything and is very generous."

41. Solomon said, "Change her throne a little, so we can see if she recognizes it or not."

42. When she arrived, someone asked her, "Is your throne like this?" She said, "It looks just like it. We were given knowledge before her, and we had already chosen to submit to Allah."

43. But what she used to worship instead of Allah had kept her away. She belonged to people who didn't believe.

44. She was told, "Enter the palace." When she saw it, she thought it was deep water, so she uncovered her legs. Solomon said, "It's a palace made of smooth, clear glass." She said, "My Lord, I've been unfair to myself. Now I choose to submit to Allah, the Lord of everyone and everything, along with Solomon."

45. We sent to the people of Thamud their brother Salih, who said, "Worship Allah." But they split into two groups, arguing with each other.

46. Salih said, "My people, why do you hurry to do bad things instead of good things? Why don't you ask Allah to forgive you, so that Allah may be kind to you?"

47. They answered, "We think you and those with you bring us bad luck." Salih replied, "Allah decides what happens to you. Actually, you're people who are being tested."

48. In the city, there were nine people who always caused trouble, and never tried to make things better.

49. They said to each other, "Let's promise by Allah to attack Salih and his family at night. Then we'll tell his relatives, 'We didn't see who hurt his family, and we're telling the truth.'"

50. They made a secret plan, and We made a secret plan too — but they didn't realize it.

51. Look what happened because of their secret plan: We completely destroyed them and all their people.

52. Now their houses are empty because they did wrong. In this, there's a clear lesson for people who understand.

53. And We saved those who believed and were careful to obey Allah.

54. And remember Lot, when he said to his people, "Why do you do such terrible things, even though you know it's wrong?

55. Do you really go to men instead of women because of your desires? You're people who don't understand what's right."

56. But his people's only answer was, "Make Lot's family leave our town. They're people who want to stay pure."

57. So We saved Lot and his family, except for his wife. We decided she would be with those who stayed behind.

58. And We sent down a rain of punishment on them. How terrible was the rain that fell on those who had been warned!

59. Say, "All praise belongs to Allah, and peace be upon His servants that He chose." Is Allah better, or those they worship besides Him?

60. Who created the skies and the earth, and sent down rain from the sky for you? With it, We grew beautiful gardens. You could never make their trees grow on your own. Is there another god with Allah? No, but they are people who make others equal to Him.

61. Who made the earth a safe place to live, put rivers through it, set strong mountains on it, and put a barrier between the two seas? Is there another god with Allah? No, but most of them don't know.

62. Who answers the one in trouble when he calls Him, takes away trouble, and makes you rulers on the earth? Is there another god with Allah? You remember only a little.

63. Who guides you through the darkness on land and sea, and sends winds to bring good news before His mercy? Is there another god with Allah? Allah is far above what they worship besides Him.

64. Who starts creation, then brings it back again, and gives you food from the sky and the earth? Is there another god with Allah? Say, "Bring your proof, if you're telling the truth."

65. Say, "No one in the skies or on earth knows what's hidden except Allah. And they don't even know when they'll be brought back to life."

66. They don't know anything about the Hereafter. They're full of doubts about it. They're completely blind to it.

67. Those who disbelieve say, "When we and our parents become dust, will we really be brought out alive again?"

68. "We and our parents were promised this before. These are just stories from long ago."

69. Say, "Travel through the earth, and see what happened to those who did wrong."

70. Don't be sad for them, and don't be upset by the tricks they plan.

71. They say, "When will this promise happen, if you're telling the truth?"

72. Say, "Maybe some of what you're rushing for is already close behind you."

73. Your Lord is very generous to people, but most of them aren't thankful.

74. Your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts, and what they show.

75. Nothing is hidden in the sky or on earth except that it's in a clear book.

76. This Quran tells the Children of Israel most of the things they disagree about.

77. And it's guidance and mercy for those who believe.

78. Your Lord will judge between them with His judgment. He is the Mighty, the One Who knows everything.

79. So trust in Allah. You're following the clear truth.

80. You can't make the dead hear you, and you can't make deaf people hear your call when they turn away.

81. And you can't guide blind people away from their misguidance. You can only make those hear who believe in Our signs, and they are the ones who obey.

82. When the time comes for Allah's word to happen, We'll bring out a creature from the earth. It will speak to people, saying that people didn't believe Our verses.

83. On that day, We'll gather a group from every nation — those who denied Our signs. They'll be lined up together.

84. When they arrive, Allah will say, "Did you say My verses weren't true, even though you didn't understand them? What were you doing?"

85. Because they did wrong, Allah's word will come true about them, and they won't be able to speak.

86. Don't they see that We made the night so they can rest, and the day bright so they can see? These are clear signs for people who believe.

87. On the day the trumpet is blown, everyone in the skies and on earth will be scared, except those Allah chooses. Everyone will come to Him completely humble.

88. You'll see the mountains and think they're standing still, but they move as clouds move. This is Allah's creation — He made everything perfectly. He knows exactly what you do.

89. Whoever comes with good deeds will get something even better, and they'll be safe from fear on that day.

90. But whoever comes with bad deeds will be thrown face-first into the Fire. Are you getting anything other than what you did?

91. I've been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, which He made sacred. Everything belongs to Him. And I've been commanded to be one of the Muslims.

92. And I've been commanded to recite the Quran. Whoever follows the right way does it for their own good. And whoever goes the wrong way, just say, "I'm only here to warn you."

93. And say, "All praise belongs to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you'll recognize them. Your Lord isn't unaware of what you do."
