In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. By the night as it covers.

2. And by the day as it reveals.

3. And by He Who created the male and the female.

4. Certainly, your efforts are diverse.

5. As for him who gives and is righteous.

6. And believes in the best.

7. We shall ease him toward ease.

8. But as for him who withholds and considers himself self-sufficient.

9. And denies the best.

10. We shall ease him toward hardship.

11. And his wealth will not avail him when he plummets.

12. Certainly, upon Us is guidance.

13. And indeed, to Us belong the Hereafter and the first life.

14. So I have warned you of a blazing Fire.

15. None shall enter it except the most wretched.

16. Who denies and turns away.

17. But the most reverent shall be kept far from it.

18. Who gives his wealth, purifying himself.

19. And not for anyone who has done him a favor to be repaid.

20. But only seeking the Face of his Lord, the Most High.

21. And surely he shall be satisfied.
