In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. By the sky with its constellations.

2. And by the promised Day.

3. And by the witness and the witnessed.

4. Destroyed were the companions of the trench.

5. The fire supplied with fuel.

6. When they sat by it.

7. And they were witnesses to what they did to the believers.

8. And they resented them only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.

9. To Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Witness over all things.

10. Surely those who persecuted the believing men and believing women, then did not repent — for them is the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of burning.

11. Surely those who believe and do righteous deeds — for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph.

12. Truly, the onslaught of your Lord is severe.

13. Surely, it is He Who originates and repeats.

14. And He is the Forgiving, the Loving.

15. Owner of the glorious Throne.

16. Doer of whatever He wills.

17. Has there come to you the story of the hosts.

18. Of Pharaoh and Thamud?

19. Yet those who disbelieve are in persistent denial.

20. While Allah encompasses them from behind.

21. Rather, it is a glorious Quran.
