In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. By those who extract violently.

2. And those who draw out gently.

3. And those who glide swiftly.

4. Then those who race forward swiftly.

5. Then those who arrange each matter.

6. On the Day the quaking will quake.

7. Followed by the subsequent one.

8. Hearts on that Day will tremble.

9. Their eyes humbled.

10. They say, "Will we indeed be returned to our former state.

11. Even after we have become decayed bones?"

12. They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."

13. Yet it will be only a single shout.

14. And behold — they will be upon the open plain.

15. Has the story of Moses reached you?

16. When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa.

17. "Go to Pharaoh; indeed, he has transgressed.

18. And say, 'Would you purify yourself.

19. And let me guide you to your Lord, so you may fear Him?'"

20. Then he showed him the greatest sign.

21. But he denied and disobeyed.

22. Then he turned away, striving.

23. And he gathered and proclaimed.

24. Saying, "I am your lord, the most high."

25. So Allah seized him with exemplary punishment in the Hereafter and the first life.

26. Truly, in that is a lesson for whoever fears.

27. Are you a more difficult creation or the heaven? He built it.

28. He raised its height and perfected it.

29. And darkened its night and brought forth its daylight.

30. And after that, He spread out the earth.

31. He brought forth from it its water and its pasture.

32. And the mountains — He firmly anchored them.

33. As provision for you and your livestock.

34. Then, when the overwhelming calamity comes.

35. On the Day when the human being will remember what he strove for.

36. And Hellfire will be exposed for whoever sees.

37. Then as for whoever transgressed.

38. And preferred the life of this world.

39. Truly, Hellfire will be the refuge.

40. But as for whoever feared standing before his Lord and restrained the soul from desire.

41. Surely, Paradise will be the refuge.

42. They ask you about the Hour: "When is its arrival?"

43. In what position are you to mention it?

44. To your Lord alone is its finality.

45. You are only a warner for whoever fears it.

46. It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had remained only an evening or its morning.
