In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. By those sent forth in succession.

2. And by those storming violently.

3. And by those spreading widely.

4. And by those clearly separating.

5. And by those delivering a reminder.

6. As justification or warning.

7. Surely, what you are promised will certainly occur.

8. So when the stars are obliterated.

9. And when the sky is cleft open.

10. And when the mountains are blown away.

11. And when the messengers' time is appointed.

12. For what Day has it been deferred?

13. For the Day of Judgment.

14. And what will make you know what the Day of Judgment is?

15. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

16. Did We not destroy the former peoples.

17. Then cause the later ones to follow them?

18. Thus do We deal with the criminals.

19. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

20. Did We not create you from a humble fluid.

21. Then We placed it in a secure resting place.

22. For a known period?

23. Thus We determined; excellent indeed are We at determining.

24. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

25. Did We not make the earth a receptacle?

26. For the living and the dead.

27. And We placed therein lofty, firm mountains, and We gave you fresh water to drink.

28. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

29. Proceed to that which you used to deny.

30. Proceed to a shadow having three columns.

31. Neither shading nor availing against the flames.

32. Indeed, it throws sparks like palaces.

33. As if they were yellowish camels.

34. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

35. This is a Day they will not speak.

36. Nor will permission be given them, that they might offer excuses.

37. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

38. This is the Day of Judgment; We have gathered you and the former peoples.

39. So if you have any scheme, then scheme against Me.

40. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

41. Indeed, the reverent will be amid shades and springs.

42. And fruits from whatever they desire.

43. Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.

44. Thus do We reward those who do good.

45. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

46. Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

47. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

48. And when it is said to them, "Bow down," they do not bow down.

49. Woe, on that Day, to those who deny.

50. Then in what discourse after this will they believe?
