In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. Qaf. By the glorious Quran.

2. But they wonder that a warner has come to them from among themselves; so the disbelievers say, "This is a strange thing.

3. When we have died and become dust? That is a distant return."

4. Certainly, We know what the earth diminishes of them; and with Us is a preserving Book.

5. But they denied the truth when it came to them; so they are in a confused state.

6. Have they not looked at the sky above them: how We built it and adorned it, and it has no cracks?

7. And the earth — We spread it out, and cast therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein every delightful kind.

8. As insight and a reminder for every servant who turns back.

9. And We sent down from the sky blessed water, and caused thereby gardens to grow, and grain for harvest.

10. And lofty palm trees, having layered clusters.

11. As provision for the servants; and We gave life thereby to a dead land — thus will be the emergence.

12. Before them denied the people of Noah, and the companions of the well, and Thamud.

13. And Aad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot.

14. And the companions of the thicket, and the people of Tubba; each denied the messengers, so My warning was fulfilled.

15. Were We then wearied by the first creation? Rather, they are in doubt about a new creation.

16. And certainly, We created the human being, and We know what his soul whispers to him; and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein.

17. When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.

18. He utters no word except that with him is an observer prepared.

19. And the intoxication of death comes with the truth; that is what you were avoiding.

20. And the Horn is blown; that is the Day of the promise.

21. And every soul comes, with it a driver and a witness.

22. Surely, you were heedless of this; so We have removed from you your covering, and your sight today is steel.

23. And his companion says, "This is what is ready with me."

24. "Cast into Hell every obstinate disbeliever.

25. Preventor of good, transgressor, doubter.

26. Who set up another god with Allah; so cast him into the severe punishment."

27. His companion says, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he was himself in far error."

28. He says, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning.

29. The word will not be changed with Me, and I am not unjust to the servants."

30. On the Day We say to Hell, "Are you filled?" and it says, "Is there any more?"

31. And Paradise is brought near to the reverent, not far.

32. "This is what you were promised — for every oft-returning keeper.

33. Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart devoutly returning.

34. Enter it in peace; that is the Day of Eternity."

35. For them therein is whatever they wish, and with Us is more.

36. And how many generations before them did We destroy, who were mightier than them in power; so they explored throughout the lands — was there any escape?

37. Truly, in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or listens attentively while he is present.

38. And certainly, We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us.

39. So be patient over what they say, and glorify with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting.

40. And during the night glorify Him, and after prostrations.

41. And listen on the Day when the caller calls from a near place.

42. The Day they hear the Cry in truth; that is the Day of emergence.

43. Truly, it is We Who give life and cause death, and to Us is the final return.

44. On the Day the earth splits open from them, they hasten forth; that is a gathering easy for Us.

45. We know best what they say, and you are not over them a compeller; so remind by the Quran whoever fears My warning.
