In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
1. Ha. Meem.
2. By the clear Book.
3. Truly, We sent it down on a blessed night; surely, We have always been warners.
4. On it, every wise matter is distinctly decreed.
5. A command from Us; certainly, We have always been sending messengers.
6. As a mercy from your Lord; surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
7. Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you are certain.
8. There is no god except Him; He gives life and causes death — your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.
9. Yet they are in doubt, playing.
10. So watch for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke.
11. Covering the people; this is a painful punishment.
12. "Our Lord, remove from us the punishment; truly, we are believers."
13. How can there be for them a reminder, when a clear messenger had already come to them?
14. Then they turned away from him and said, "Taught, mad."
15. Surely, We will remove the punishment a little; surely, you will revert.
16. On the Day We seize with the greatest seizure; surely, We will take vengeance.
17. Certainly, We tested before them the people of Pharaoh, and a noble messenger came to them.
18. Saying, "Deliver to me the servants of Allah; indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
19. And do not exalt yourselves against Allah; certainly, I come to you with clear authority.
20. And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
21. But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
22. Then he called upon his Lord, "These are indeed a criminal people."
23. "Then set forth with My servants by night; certainly, you will be pursued.
24. And leave the sea parted; surely, they are an army to be drowned."
25. How many gardens and springs did they leave behind.
26. And crops and noble dwellings.
27. And comforts wherein they delighted.
28. Thus it was; and We caused another people to inherit them.
29. Neither heaven nor earth wept for them, nor were they granted respite.
30. And certainly, We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating punishment.
31. From Pharaoh; truly, he was arrogant among the transgressors.
32. And indeed, We chose them, based on knowledge, above all the worlds.
33. And We gave them signs in which there was a clear trial.
34. Indeed, these people say.
35. "There is nothing but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
36. Then bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful."
37. Are they better, or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them; indeed, they were criminals.
38. And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in play.
39. We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
40. Certainly, the Day of Judgment is their appointed time, all together.
41. The Day when no protector will avail another protector at all, nor will they be helped.
42. Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed, He is the Almighty, the Merciful.
43. Truly, the tree of Zaqqum.
44. Is the food of the sinful.
45. Like molten metal, boiling in the bellies.
46. Like the boiling of scalding water.
47. "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hellfire.
48. Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water.
49. Taste! Indeed, you are the "mighty," the "noble."
50. Truly, this is what you used to doubt."
51. Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place.
52. Amid gardens and springs.
53. Wearing garments of fine silk and brocade, facing one another.
54. Thus — and We will wed them to fair ones with beautiful eyes.
55. They will call therein for every kind of fruit, secure.
56. They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.
57. As bounty from your Lord; that is the supreme triumph.
58. Thus, We have made it easy in your tongue, so that they may take heed.
59. So wait; indeed, they too are waiting.
