In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. Ta. Seen. These are the verses of the Quran and a clear Book.

2. A guidance and glad tidings for the believers.

3. Those who establish prayer and give charity, and who, of the Hereafter, are certain.

4. Truly, those who do not believe in the Hereafter — We have made their deeds seem fair to them, so they wander blindly.

5. Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst punishment, and in the Hereafter, they will be the greatest losers.

6. And truly, you receive the Quran from One Wise, Knowing.

7. When Moses said to his family, "I have perceived a fire; I will bring you news from it, or I will bring you a burning torch, that you may warm yourselves."

8. But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it; and glory be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

9. O Moses, surely, it is I, Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.

10. And cast down your staff." But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned away fleeing and did not look back. "O Moses, do not fear; truly, the messengers do not fear in My presence.

11. Except one who has done wrong, then replaces evil with good; for certainly, I am Forgiving, Merciful.

12. And put your hand into your garment; it will come forth white without harm — among nine signs to Pharaoh and his people; indeed, they were a defiantly disobedient people."

13. But when Our signs came to them, clear to see, they said, "This is manifest magic."

14. And they rejected them, though their souls were certain of them, out of injustice and arrogance; so see how was the end of the corruptors.

15. And certainly, We gave David and Solomon knowledge; and they said, "Praise be to Allah, Who has favored us above many of His believing servants."

16. And Solomon inherited from David, and he said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given of everything; surely, this is the clear favor."

17. And gathered for Solomon were his hosts of jinn and humans and birds, and they were kept in order.

18. Until, when they came upon the valley of ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you while they perceive not."

19. So he smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, inspire me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please You; and admit me, by Your mercy, among Your righteous servants."

20. And he inspected the birds and said, "Why is it that I do not see the hoopoe, or is he among the absent?"

21. "I will surely punish him with a severe punishment, or I will slaughter him, unless he brings me a clear authority."

22. But he did not remain absent long, and said, "I have encompassed that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news."

23. "I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a magnificent throne."

24. "I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah; and Satan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and thus diverted them from the path, so they are not guided."

25. That they do not prostrate to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you reveal.

26. Allah — there is no god except Him, Lord of the Great Throne.

27. He said, "We shall see whether you have spoken the truth, or whether you are among the liars.

28. Go with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them; then withdraw from them, and observe what they return."

29. She said, "O chiefs, a noble letter has been delivered to me.

30. It is from Solomon, and it is: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

31. Do not exalt yourselves against me, but come to me in submission.'"

32. She said, "O chiefs, advise me in my affair; I never decide a matter until you bear witness."

33. They said, "We possess strength and great might, but the command is yours; so consider what you will command."

34. She said, "Indeed, when kings enter a town, they corrupt it and make the honored among its people humbled — and thus do they act.

35. But I will send them a gift, and see with what the messengers return."

36. So when it came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? What Allah has given me is better than what He has given you; rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.

37. Return to them, for we shall surely come to them with forces they cannot withstand, and we shall expel them from it, humbled and disgraced."

38. He said, "O chiefs, which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

39. A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place; and indeed, I am strong and trustworthy for it."

40. Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." So when he saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord, to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for himself; and whoever is ungrateful — indeed, my Lord is Self-Sufficient, Generous."

41. He said, "Disguise her throne for her; we shall see whether she will be guided or will be among those who are not guided."

42. So when she arrived, it was said, "Is your throne like this?" She said, "It is as though it were it; and we were given knowledge before this, and we were submitting."

43. And what she used to worship besides Allah prevented her. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people.

44. It was said to her, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her legs. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace paved with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

45. And certainly We sent to Thamud their brother Salih: "Worship Allah." But behold, they became two factions disputing.

46. He said, "O my people, why do you hasten evil before good? Why do you not seek forgiveness from Allah, that you may receive mercy?"

47. They said, "We consider you and those with you an evil omen." He said, "Your omen is with Allah; rather, you are a people being tested."

48. And there were in the city nine men who caused corruption on earth, and did not reform.

49. They said, "Swear to one another by Allah: we will surely attack him and his family by night; then we will surely say to his guardian, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed we are truthful.'"

50. And they devised a plot, and We devised a plot, while they perceived not.

51. So see how was the outcome of their plot: We destroyed them and their people altogether.

52. So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they committed; indeed, in that is a sign for a people who know.

53. And We saved those who believed and were mindful of Allah.

54. And Lot, when he said to his people, "Do you commit indecency while you clearly see?

55. Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."

56. But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your town; indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."

57. So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We decreed her to be among those who remained behind.

58. And We rained upon them a rain; how evil was the rain upon those who had been warned!

59. Say, "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better, or what they associate?"

60. Or Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down for you water from the sky, by which We caused to grow gardens of delightful beauty? It was not for you to cause their trees to grow. Is there a god with Allah? Rather, they are a people who ascribe equals.

61. Or Who made the earth a stable abode, and placed rivers through it, and set firm mountains upon it, and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a god with Allah? Rather, most of them do not know.

62. Or Who answers the distressed when he calls upon Him, and removes harm, and makes you successors on earth? Is there a god with Allah? Little is it that you remember.

63. Or Who guides you in the darknesses of land and sea, and Who sends the winds as glad tidings before His mercy? Is there a god with Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they associate.

64. Or Who originates creation, then repeats it, and Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Is there a god with Allah? Say, "Bring your proof, if you are truthful."

65. Say, "None in the heavens and the earth knows the unseen except Allah; nor do they perceive when they will be resurrected."

66. Rather, their knowledge concerning the Hereafter has reached its limit; rather, they are in doubt about it; rather, they are blind to it.

67. And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust, and our forefathers, will we indeed be brought forth?

68. Certainly, we and our forefathers were promised this before; this is nothing but tales of the ancients."

69. Say, "Travel through the earth, and observe what was the outcome of the criminals."

70. And do not grieve over them, nor be distressed by what they plot.

71. And they say, "When is this promise, if you are truthful?"

72. Say, "Perhaps some of what you seek to hasten is close behind you."

73. And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty toward humanity, but most of them are not grateful.

74. And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal, and what they reveal.

75. And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, except that it is in a clear Book.

76. Certainly, this Quran relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they differ.

77. And certainly, it is guidance and mercy for the believers.

78. Surely, your Lord will judge between them by His judgment; and He is the Almighty, the All-Knowing.

79. So rely upon Allah; surely, you are upon the clear truth.

80. Surely, you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn away, retreating.

81. Nor can you guide the blind out of their error; you can only make hear those who believe in Our verses, for they are Muslims.

82. And when the Word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth that will speak to them, declaring that the people had no certainty in Our signs.

83. And the Day We gather from every nation a group of those who denied Our signs, and they will be restrained.

84. Until, when they arrive, He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what were you doing?"

85. And the Word will befall them for the wrong they committed, and they will not speak.

86. Do they not see that We made the night for them to rest in, and the day for seeing? Certainly, in that are signs for a people who believe.

87. And the Day the trumpet is blown, whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified, except whom Allah wills; and all will come to Him utterly humbled.

88. And you see the mountains, thinking them firmly fixed, while they pass as the passing of clouds — the craftsmanship of Allah, Who perfected all things; truly, He is aware of what you do.

89. Whoever comes with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be secure.

90. And whoever comes with an evil deed — their faces are thrown in the Fire. Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?

91. I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, Who has made it sacred, and to Whom belongs all things; and I have been commanded to be among the Muslims.

92. And to recite the Quran. So whoever is guided is only guided for himself; and whoever goes astray, say, "I am only among the warners."

93. And say, "Praise be to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them; and your Lord is not unaware of what you do."
