In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. By the sky and the Night Visitor.

2. And what will make you realize what the Night Visitor is?

3. It is the piercing star.

4. There is no soul without a guardian watching over it.

5. So let the human being reflect on what he was created from.

6. He was created from a spurting fluid.

7. Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.

8. Surely, He is fully able to bring him back.

9. On the Day when all secrets are laid bare.

10. Then he will have neither strength nor helper.

11. By the sky that returns again and again.

12. And by the earth that splits open with growth.

13. Truly, this is a decisive word.

14. And it is not something said in jest.

15. They are surely plotting their schemes.

16. But I, too, am planning My plan.

17. So give the disbelievers time; leave them alone for a short while.
