In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. Woe to those who cheat in measure.

2. Those who demand full measure when they take from people.

3. Yet when they measure or weigh for others, they give less than due.

4. Do they not realize they will be raised again.

5. On a tremendous Day.

6. The Day when all people will stand before the Lord of the Worlds.

7. Certainly, the record of the wicked is in Sijjeen.

8. And what can make you understand what Sijjeen is?

9. It is a clearly inscribed record.

10. On that Day, woe to those who deny.

11. Those who deny the Day of Judgment.

12. None denies it except every sinful transgressor.

13. When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "These are ancient tales."

14. No! Rather, their hearts have become stained by what they used to earn.

15. Truly, on that Day, they will be veiled from their Lord.

16. Then they will surely enter the blazing Fire.

17. Then it will be said, "This is what you used to deny."

18. Certainly, the record of the righteous is in Illiyyeen.

19. And what can make you understand what Illiyyoun is?

20. It is a clearly inscribed record.

21. Witnessed by those brought near.

22. Surely, the righteous will be in bliss.

23. Reclining on couches, gazing around.

24. You will recognize on their faces the glow of delight.

25. They will be given a drink of sealed nectar.

26. Its seal is musk — so let those who strive, strive eagerly for this.

27. And it is mixed with Tasneem.

28. A spring from which those brought near will drink.

29. Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

30. And when they passed by them, they would wink mockingly at one another.

31. And when they returned to their people, they returned amused.

32. And when they saw the believers, they said, "These people are truly lost."

33. Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.

34. But today, those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers.

35. Reclining on couches, gazing around.

36. Have the disbelievers been repaid for what they used to do?
