In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. When the sky splits apart.

2. When the stars scatter.

3. When the seas burst forth.

4. And when the graves are overturned.

5. Then each soul will know what it has sent ahead, and what it left behind.

6. O human being, what has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord.

7. Who created you, shaped you, and balanced you.

8. Fashioning you in whatever form He willed.

9. No! Rather, you deny the Judgment.

10. Surely, over you are appointed guardians.

11. Noble scribes.

12. Who know all that you do.

13. Surely, the righteous will be in bliss.

14. And surely, the wicked will be in blazing fire.

15. They will enter it on the Day of Judgment.

16. And they will never escape from it.

17. And what can make you understand what the Day of Judgment is?

18. Again, what can make you understand what the Day of Judgment is?

19. It is the Day when no soul will have power to help another in any way; on that Day, all authority belongs to Allah alone.
