In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. By those sent forth, one after another.

2. And by those that blow fiercely.

3. And by those spreading far and wide.

4. And by those clearly separating truth from falsehood.

5. And by those delivering the Reminder.

6. As justification or as warning.

7. What you are promised will certainly happen.

8. Then, when the stars are extinguished.

9. And when the sky is torn apart.

10. And when the mountains are blown away.

11. And when the messengers are appointed.

12. For what Day has all this been delayed?

13. For the Day of Judgment.

14. And what can make you understand what the Day of Judgment is?

15. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

16. Did We not destroy the earlier generations.

17. Then cause the later ones to follow them?

18. This is how We deal with the guilty.

19. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

20. Did We not create you from a humble fluid.

21. Then placed it in a secure resting place.

22. For a determined period?

23. Thus We measured precisely — how excellent is Our measuring!

24. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

25. Did We not make the earth a gathering place?

26. For the living and the dead?

27. And placed upon it towering mountains, and gave you sweet water to drink?

28. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

29. Proceed now to what you used to deny!

30. Proceed to a shadow with three branches.

31. Offering neither shade nor relief from the flames.

32. Indeed, it throws sparks as huge as castles.

33. As if they were yellowish camels.

34. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

35. This is a Day when they will not speak.

36. Nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.

37. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

38. This is the Day of Judgment. We have gathered you and all earlier peoples.

39. So if you have any scheme, then scheme against Me now!

40. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

41. Truly, the righteous will be amid cool shade and flowing springs.

42. And fruits of every kind they desire.

43. Eat and drink joyfully, as reward for what you used to do.

44. This is how We reward those who do good.

45. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

46. Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while; you are surely criminals.

47. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

48. And when they are told, "Bow down," they refuse to bow.

49. On that Day, woe to those who deny the truth!

50. After this, what message will they believe in?
