Quran: Select your reading level

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. Say, "It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened carefully, then said, 'We have heard a wondrous Quran.

2. Guiding to what is right, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Lord.

3. And exalted is the majesty of our Lord — He has neither taken a wife nor a child.

4. And our foolish one used to speak outrageous lies about Allah.

5. We had thought that neither humans nor jinn would ever speak falsely about Allah.

6. Yet some human beings used to seek refuge with some of the jinn, only increasing them in trouble.

7. And they thought, as you did, that Allah would never raise anyone again.

8. We touched the heavens, but found them filled with powerful guards and blazing flames.

9. We used to sit there in positions to listen, but whoever tries to listen now finds a fiery flame waiting in ambush.

10. We do not know whether harm is intended for those on earth, or if their Lord intends guidance for them.

11. Among us are the righteous, and among us are others less so — we have followed different paths.

12. And we realized we can never escape Allah on earth, nor can we flee from Him.

13. When we heard the guidance, we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Lord will fear neither injustice nor harm.

14. Among us are those who submit to Allah, and among us are those who deviate from the truth. Those who submit have chosen the right path.

15. But as for those who deviate, they will be fuel for Hellfire."

16. Had they remained firm on the right path, We would have surely given them abundant water to drink.

17. To test them through it. But whoever turns away from remembering his Lord, He will lead him into severe suffering.

18. The places of worship belong to Allah alone, so do not call upon anyone besides Allah.

19. And when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him, they almost crowded upon him in masses.

20. Say, "I only call upon my Lord, and I associate no one with Him."

21. Say, "I have no power to bring you harm or guidance."

22. Say, "No one can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge besides Him.

23. Except to convey from Allah and His messages. Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger will surely have the Fire of Hell, remaining there forever."

24. Until, when they finally see what they were promised, they will know who is weakest in helpers and fewest in number.

25. Say, "I do not know whether what you are promised is near, or if my Lord has set a distant time for it.

26. The knower of the unseen, and He reveals His unseen to no one.

27. Except to a messenger He has chosen. Then He places guards before him and behind him.

28. So that He may know they have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that they have, and He keeps count of every single thing."
