In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. The Most Compassionate.

2. Who taught the Quran.

3. Created the human being.

4. And taught him clear expression.

5. The sun and the moon move by calculations.

6. The stars and the trees bow down in submission.

7. He raised the sky and established the balance.

8. So do not transgress the balance.

9. Weigh with justice, and do not give short measure.

10. He laid out the earth for all creatures.

11. In it are fruits, and date palms with clustered sheaths.

12. And grains with husks, and fragrant herbs.

13. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

14. He created the human being from clay, like pottery.

15. And created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

16. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

17. Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests.

18. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

19. He merges the two seas, meeting together.

20. Between them is a barrier; neither of them transgresses.

21. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

22. From both seas come forth pearls and coral.

23. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

24. His are the ships sailing high upon the sea like mountains.

25. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

26. Everyone upon the earth will perish.

27. But the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor, will remain.

28. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

29. All who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every day He is engaged in some matter.

30. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

31. Soon We will attend to you, O two accountable beings.

32. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

33. O assembly of jinn and humans, if you can pass beyond the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then pass — but you will not pass except with authority.

34. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

35. Flames of fire and molten copper will be sent against you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.

36. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

37. When the sky splits apart, turning rose like paint.

38. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

39. On that Day, neither human nor jinn will be asked about their sins.

40. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

41. The guilty will be recognized by their marks, and seized by their forelocks and feet.

42. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

43. This is Hell, which the guilty denied.

44. They will circle between it and boiling, scalding water.

45. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

46. But for whoever fears standing before their Lord, there will be two Gardens.

47. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

48. Both lush with branches.

49. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

50. In both are two flowing springs.

51. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

52. In both are pairs of every kind of fruit.

53. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

54. Reclining upon couches lined with rich brocade, and the fruit of both Gardens within reach.

55. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

56. In them are maidens of modest gaze, untouched before by any human or jinn.

57. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

58. As if they were rubies and coral.

59. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

60. Is there any reward for goodness other than goodness?

61. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

62. And besides these two, there are two other Gardens.

63. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

64. Both intensely green.

65. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

66. In both are two springs gushing forth.

67. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

68. In both are fruits, date palms, and pomegranates.

69. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

70. In them are beautiful and virtuous companions.

71. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

72. Fair ones, confined in tents.

73. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

74. Untouched before by any human or jinn.

75. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

76. Reclining upon green cushions and exquisite carpets.

77. Then which of your Lord's favors will you both deny?

78. Blessed is the Name of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor.
