In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1. Qaf. By the glorious Quran.

2. Yet they are astonished that a warner has come to them from among themselves. The disbelievers say, "This is something truly strange!

3. Is it that when we have died and become dust? How far-fetched is that return!"

4. We certainly know what the earth takes away from them, and with Us is a well-preserved record.

5. Rather, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so now they are in utter confusion.

6. Have they not looked at the sky above them — how We built it, adorned it, and left it without any flaw?

7. And the earth — We spread it out, set firm mountains upon it, and caused every delightful kind of plant to grow there.

8. As insight and a reminder for every servant who turns to Allah.

9. And We send down blessed rain from the sky, bringing forth gardens and grain for harvest.

10. And tall palm trees laden with clusters of dates.

11. As provision for the servants. With it We revive a lifeless land — such will be the resurrection.

12. Before them, the people of Noah denied, as did the companions of the well and Thamud.

13. And Aad, Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot.

14. And the dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba. Each rejected their messengers, so My warning was fulfilled.

15. Were We exhausted by the first creation? Yet they remain doubtful about a new creation.

16. We certainly created the human being, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

17. When the two receivers receive, one sitting on the right and one on the left.

18. Not a single word does he utter without a vigilant observer ready beside him.

19. And the stupor of death comes with the truth — that is what you were trying to avoid.

20. And the trumpet will be blown — that is the Day of Warning.

21. Each soul will arrive, accompanied by a driver and a witness.

22. You were heedless of this; now We have lifted your veil, and today your sight is sharp.

23. And his companion will say, "This is what I have ready."

24. "Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever.

25. Who hindered goodness, transgressed all bounds, and sowed doubt.

26. Who set up another god alongside Allah — cast him into severe punishment."

27. His companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not lead him astray; rather, he himself was far gone in error."

28. He will say, "Do not argue before Me — I already gave you clear warning.

29. My word does not change, nor am I unjust to My servants."

30. On that Day, We will ask Hell, "Are you full?" And it will reply, "Is there any more?"

31. And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous — not far away.

32. "This is what you were promised — for everyone who constantly turned to Allah, and carefully guarded their faith.

33. Who feared the Most Merciful unseen, and came with a heart turning sincerely to Him.

34. Enter it in peace — this is the Day of Eternity."

35. There they will have whatever they desire — and with Us is even more.

36. How many generations before them did We destroy, who were mightier than them in strength? They traveled far and wide through the lands — but was there any escape?

37. Truly, in this is a reminder for whoever has a heart, or listens attentively with presence of mind.

38. Certainly, We created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us.

39. So patiently endure what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise before sunrise and before sunset.

40. And glorify Him during the night, and after the prayers.

41. And listen for the Day when the caller will call out from a nearby place.

42. The Day they will hear the mighty blast in truth — that is the Day of Emergence.

43. It is We Who give life and cause death, and to Us is the final return.

44. On the Day the earth splits open, they will rush forth — that gathering is easy for Us.

45. We know best what they say. You are not sent to compel them — so remind with the Quran whoever fears My warning.
